God said a tenth of all agricultural production in the land of Israel belonged to Him. The Church says God required the Israelites to give Him a tenth, and He requires the same of you. They can't both be right. After tithing for many years, I decided to find out what the Bible really says. There are only two acts of tithing recorded in the Bible: Abraham's tithe to Melchizedek and Jacob's tithe to God. Jacob's tithe played a vital role in the administration of the Old Covenant, and Abraham's tithe played just as vital a role in the emergence of the New Covenant. God never required the Israelites to tithe, and He doesn't require you to tithe. Read the book. Know the truth. End the tithing charade today.
