The Colosimo Trial

James Colosimo, who prefers to be known as "Diamond Jim," is one of Atlanta's most prominent criminal defense attorneys. After successfully defending a high-profile case in Savannah, he is now back in that beautiful city for another trial-this time as a defendant, accused along with two other members of his law firm of influencing witnesses and conspiracy. Prosecuting the case is the same young assistant DA he opposed the last time he was in Savannah, Scott Marino, whose primary witness is facing serious charges of his own. "Diamond Jim" requests that he be allowed to act as his own counsel which the trial judge approves. But when his codefendants demand the trial judge allow "Diamond Jim" to defend them also, claiming their right under the Constitution to "counsel of their choice," the judge has a difficult decision to make which will affect the defense, but even more so, the prosecution.
