An alien blue plant is discovered growing in the desert north of Roswell New Mexico. A retired LA cop, a cantankerous old scientist and a college professor venture out in the desert and discover an alien race, the Jinn, have planted an entire field of the plant. Their investigation takes them to an enormous space ship and the exotic Queen of the Jinn. The cop, Mike Sands, is seduced by the Queen and is soon involved in more than biology. He learns of a possible invasion and begins a long process in an attempt to prevent a war. Along the way, just to make matters more complex, he falls in love, not once, but twice, or was that more?
