Morning Star Rising is a book of poetry. It's my story through poetry. My story, my past anyway, is not unlike a lot of our past. It has been full of tumultuous relationships. I've suffered and survived abuse. And that past tells a story in itself. And for me, that story was that I wasn't enough. In my past, there was a lot of warring within, wrestling with the idea that, or the lie really, that I wasn't enough, that I couldn't be loved, that there was something about me that needed to just disappear.
