Lulu, receives a new show pony for her birthday and is now determined to beat Melony Parker, who always boasts that she has the best pony in the world! Flo, Lulu's cattle dog, dislikes Melony Parkers Poodle and always causes trouble at the horse shows, so Flo is told to stay home. Flo, however, hides under a rug in the back of the family's station wagon. When they arrive at the show, Flo bursts from under the rug, jumps out of the car and runs to find Melony's poodle, named Mimi. Lulu is busy with Miss Pickles, her new pony to go chasing Flo, so Donny follows her to where he sees Flo threatening Mimi. Melony tells them to "buzz off," but Donny is spellbound by Melony's new pony, she has named Primrose and who is identical to Miss Pickles. Meantime, Flo attacks Mimi and together they run through horse's legs, under fences, into water troughs, which causes terrible havoc. Primrose and Miss pickles take flight and join all the other ponies. Eventually all horses are caught and the show begins, although Lulu and Melony have captured the wrong pony, they each have the other's pony. This becomes a dilemma until Flo has an idea and she is determined with the help of Mimi, to return Primrose to Melony and Miss Pickles to Lulu. Read what happens next in this delightful story.
