An Allotment is a uniquely English concept of renting plots to people to grow their own produce. Month by month this particular Allotment follows the lives of several people through out a typical year. We meet a returned army veteran with PTSD, a young woman living with a cantankerous mother, a middle-aged woman, recently made redundant, a beautiful young widow, a young Down Syndrome boy and his mother, and several more. As each in his own way learns about gardening they find peace and happiness and in some cases, love.
