Lovingly crafted, the 59 poems in this volume explore the spiritual possibilities in the events of an ordinary life. Unafraid to blend her Christian roots with Buddhist thought, Cheryl Racanelli creates memorable poems that speak honestly about challenge, doubt, faith, and joy. Whether observing nature, contemplating a familiar task, or offering a blessing for a life passage, each poem creates an opportunity to connect more deeply with your life or with the divine. Written during a seven-year period of illness, some of the poems specifically dive into the waters of suffering, but eventually emerge with illumination and healing, even when physical circumstances seem unchanged. The volume as a whole will leave you transformed and inspired, eager to share at least one poem with someone you love.
