The Outer Rim is a Christian/Science Fiction novel featuring fourteen alien races in a completely new universe. The plot revolves around three characters from military families who get caught up in an apocalyptic, interplanetary war. Read about a love story between two childhood sweethearts, who must struggle to survive. Come and be taken into a King's secret council, and an alliance security council comprised of several different alien races. Witness political intrigue, treachery, and battles in space between large fleets, as well as close combat on a small scale. Meet characters from the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Japan, and the Middle East. In the year 2137, the Earth belonged to a twenty-four world trade alliance - the Tellopian League. Together they had enjoyed decades of peace and prosperity. Many people of the Earth had migrated to other worlds through work, service in the military or government, or merely to start new lives. Franz and Tonya came from two such military families. They had practically grown up together on the terraformed world of Dragos, two hundred ninety light years from Earth. In 2138, the Tellopian League was invaded by the Strovats - hive-oriented aliens that used large numbers of enormous warships to attack in overwhelming force. Decades of peace had left the League unprepared to face this sudden, apocalyptic assault. The peaceful, out-of-the-way world of Dragos soon ended up on the front lines, and the war came home to Franz and Tonya. These two people from ordinary military families quickly became embroiled in events which would change the galaxy as they knew it. Meanwhile, nearly seven hundred light years away in the heart of the warrior kingdom of the Alamani, a prophet warned the king that an ancient doom was returning from the outer rim of the galaxy.
