Sufi Tales for Children: One Love, One Light is a compilation of stories drawn from the works of the eminent musician and mystic of the early twentieth century Hazrat Inayat-Khan (1882-1927). This book focuses on the first principal of Sufism, namely, "There is One God, the Eternal, the Only Being; none exists save He." Over a century ago, Hazrat Inayat-Khan brought Sufism from his native India to the West, and left us with a stirring commentary on this principal and a number of classic tales to illustrate his point, such as the story of Khwaja 'Usman Harvani and his foremost disciple Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, the account of Moses and the peasant boy, as well as the debate between a Brahmin and an iconoclast, among others. It aims to spread the knowledge of unity, the religion of love and wisdom.
