This novel is set in South Africa where young university students from diverse backgrounds interact. Through the lives of these young characters the reader is taken on a tour of the dynamics of society's extreme opposites where racism, bigotry, prejudice and violence reign supreme. From the seedbed of despair, two young lovers emerge to serve as a bridge that connects the fast and the slow paced members of society.
