Tough Enough is about the Wilson family who moved to Hells Canyon in 1951 to build a sheep ranch where they expected to spend their life with their three sons. Twenty-five years later they were gone. The Forest Service used the law of eminent domain to acquire privately owned land to establish the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.
