I've always been of the belief that poetry shouldn't be elitist, butinstead should be a medium that all can enjoy without scholarlyinterpretation.Take away "Roses are Red", and a certain limerick about a gentlemanfrom Nantucket, and I'm afraid many of us would be hard pressed torecite a poem of our liking, that wasn't learned by rote during ourschool days.So what's my "go to" style you may be asking? It's definitely rhymepoetry, and my subject matter is as broad and deep as the world welive in. I am fascinated by everything, and my curiosity continuallyleads me to write on new topics.My commitment is to craft a story of interest on the particular topic. I amobsessive in choosing the right combination of words, and creating itwithin a tight rhyme format. My goal is that it's a pleasurableexperience for the reader, being easy to follow, and rewarding to read.So now, celebrating forty years of writing poetry, and withhundreds of poems to offer, I have decided to begin sharing mycollection.
