Thirty-five year old, Paris Kassandra Morgan was deeply depressed for years. There were days she felt as if she would die. Although, she had been freed from an abusive relationship with an older man; she ended up being used by a man that had just gotten out of his own bad relationship, and done things that she wanted to hide. She craved approval and acceptance, the feelings that were missing, from anyone willing to give them. She was one person during the day and another at night.She started eating her feelings and gaining weight; adding to her feelings of being unwanted and unlovable. She had survived the abuse from her past, some sexual, some physical and mostly mental but remained a broken doll. It all began to consume her. She was locked cage that she had put herself in. She was guarded and jaded, fearful and full of doubt; not believing that she was worthy of anyone's love, having never felt that real, deep down, 'I would do anything for you', love that she longed for. Her life changes when she meets Clayshaun, a handsome twenty-three year old, who makes her feel as if she is the only one in the world. She thinks she finally found that something that she was missing. She even finds herself becoming obsessed with him and at times lost without him. Fighting against her feelings, she realizes the amount of damage he is causing. Over a span of twelve long years she would try to escape him and these feelings; but continuously succumbing to any trigger that brought him back into her life. There was always something, a sound, a smell, a taste, a conversation, or just him; causing her to indulge and dive back in with him in full force without any concern of the repercussions. At times, she truly believed that what he provided was filling her up, physically, mentally and emotionally; when in reality it was slowly taking her down. She didn't want to go back to the feeling of emptiness but she knew in her heart that he was not the answer.
