Etchi's work is a handy reference for making ethical decisions concerning the use of reproductive technologies for procreation. In several parts of the world, couples without children of their own are exposed to various forms of torment. Over the years scientists' work of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has become a solution registering several millions of births already. Mary's Virginal-Conception-Method evidences an artificial method and not the natural method of conception; a Y-Chromosome from outside the couple; a dissociation of the link between procreation and the couple's unitive sex in conception and the death of Holy Innocents to sustain the life of Mary's Son.
