The two thieves who stole the blueprints to the technology that did this had different plans. It would be their carelessness that would spark a war between two nations squashing everyone's hopes of being safe and free. The shapeshifters would find themselves electrocuted as they are caught in the crossfire. Amongst the chaos, there is in fact some love and happiness that can be found for some of these characters.
