Just Living The Life...

Over the years I have been blessed by the Hand of God upon my life. I have experienced ups and downs. I have fought battles and won and I have also fought battles and lost. Through all of these experiences I have learned that in spite of my failures there is a God that loves me. He has looked beyond my faults and saw my needs and with the love that only he is able to give he has stood by me. The first scripture that God spoke to me is found in John 14:15 states, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." Although I have failed many times I have purposed in my heart to follow Him to the best of my ability. Each time He has welcomed me and wrapped His arms around me telling me He loves me. It is out of all those experiences and through the study of His Word that He has given me the thoughts to write down. It is my prayer that as you read through the pages of JUST LIVING THE LIFE that you will find something that you can relate to and be blessed by. It includes thoughts from yesteryear, prayers along with words of encouragement which I am sure you will be blessed as you read them. They are written in simple form which is easy to read. Someone once asked me where did I get all the ideas for my thoughts of which I replied, "A wondering mind has a lot of places to go." As you read through the pages of JUST LIVING THE LIFE you will understand that God has blessed you with the gift of life and that you will understand that you have a purpose in life and that you will enjoy your life to the fullest. Here is my first example: FRONT PORCH PONDERING: I have been thinking how wonderful it would be if it were possible to have a "Life Reunion" of all the people who have made an impact upon our lives. To me, that would be awesome!Often I remember special events that have shaped my life into what it is today. Events that have included some special people... Some who have made me laugh, and yes, some who have even made me cry. If you are one of those people please know I am thankful for the contribution you have made to my life. You have made it an exciting experience!What is even more exciting are the future friends I will eventually meet. I just hope I can make your life a blessing as I know you will mine. Thanks for the memories and may you all find a "Porch" where you can sit and be reminded of the many blessings God has given you.Jim here just LIVING THE LIFE!
