R23 HEIDELBERG ROAD . A civilian is under siege . . . In a war against expropriation of land without compensation . . . He runs to the third one, Van der Merwe farm holding. The farmer here tells him that he must go ask his government for help. He tells him he can't help the enemy who will expropriate his land without compensation. He shrugs off and runs back to scene of attack hoping he might reconnect with the grandson. The boy is nowhere to be found. He cries until his Ancestor grandmother comes back for help. The grandmother asks him 'Mntanami kwenzenjani. Ukhalelani kangaka (My son what's wrong. Why are you crying this loud?.' He tells his Ancestor grandmother how they got attacked while driving along R23 Heidelberg road. He tells her how he disconnected with the grandson. He tells her Abelungu basemaplazini are not helping him. The ancestor grandmother asks him, 'Kungani ufuna usizo kubelungu? Awunabo yini abafowenu? Ziphi insizwa owakhula nazo? Muphi Umbutho Wesizwe? Angithi bakubiza bathi woza bakufundise ukuzivikela wena wanqaba wathi ngeke uyohlala emahlathini?''Thula ke manje.' She shouts him. 'Finya. Sula izinyembezi. Phindela kubona uzehlise, ucele bakusize.''Ngiyasaba Khulu, ngeke bavume.''Bazokusiza mntanami abakwenu. Nimuntu munye nabo. Ningavumi ukuhlukaniswa izitha ngiyacela ngane yami.'
