Almost every dwelling of a certain age will have a ghost, or two, within it's walls, whether, or not, we would like to admit it. The majority of these 'residual' spirits, however, are of a quite placid and innocuous nature - who would seldom trouble us to any great degree. Oh, we may, at one time or another, obtain the briefest glimpse of them in the corner of our eye - or discover some object, in plain sight, whose earlier disappearance left us baffled - but such instances as these are easily brushed aside or attributed to the workings of a broad imagination. There are some ghosts, however, who delight in making their presence felt - as though deeply resenting any subsequent intrusion. Those sensitive enough to attune to their displeasure or mischief making may find themselves hard pressed to account for their own reactions - and, often, their testaments are looked upon with doubt. Such a case, very recently, came to my notice - although it's outcome was not as might have been expected. The story, itself, I heard from a man named Harris, Arthur Harris, and I've recorded it exactly as he told it to me.........
