Imagine this: After falling into deep sleep, you find yourself floating in the air. You look around you and see your physical body at rest. The thought that you might possibly be dead makes you shudder, and you scream. You wake up, your hands clammy, and you realize you're back in your bed. It was all a dream. Or was it? Such incidents are called astral travel. Astral travel happens when the conscious mind leaves the physical body and travels vast distances. The idea of astral travel goes as far back as ancient Egypt. During this time, it was only the ruling elite that knew the secrets to astral travel. Today, the idea is widespread. So widespread, in fact, that one can easily search for them on the Internet and have thousands of resources at one's fingertips.
