Are you prepared to sail on a philosophical mystery journey-to venture deep inside the minds of my characters-where each one has a unique moral background that determines every action and outcome? From the moment you meet the City Manager of Underwood, Wisconsin, through the twisted epic events that follow, I assure you of a never ending emotional roller coaster ride. I reveal the dank, dark secrets that motivate my characters, and sometimes those secrets are not at all pretty. Inside you will find: A City Manager receives a letter package and immediately experiences a mysterious attack in his office at city hall. Simultaneously the City Treasurer aims a revolver at his head and pulls the trigger. The City Manager must get an ordinance through the city council to prevent political assassination, or even worse-physical harm to his family. A Milwaukee brewery owner's insatiable envy, for his exceedingly handsome chemist, evolves into seething hatred that results in his devising a scheme that jeopardizes the lives of his chemist and a wealthy upscale, but suspicious, restaurant owner. When the scheme goes hopelessly awry, a brilliant teenage waiter comes into contact with the brewery owner who demands considerably more of the extraordinarily cute waiter than his job description permits. Does he fall prey to the sadistic desires of the brewery owner or does he fix the mess the brewery owner created? If you don't think morals influence outcomes, then think again. It's the morality buried inside everyone that determines how that person acts throughout life. The Ordinance is not for the fainthearted. It questions everything you know to be true, when it reveals the ghastly secrets lurking beneath the glossy surfaces.
