How Thin the Veil

Robin moved to rural Louisiana to look after her mom when she was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. It's a bittersweet return for the childless widow to the home where she grew up. But she's quickly involved in an assisted-living intrigue that points to secret ceremonies in the nursing home chapel, saints walking among the residents, and the desperate need of an AIDS patient who, like Robin, has finally come home.
