Winds of Adventure

It is said that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. For sixteen year old Jarrod, fatherless, scruffy, and from the wrong side of town, being strong and smart were the keys to survival. A future would not be just handed to him; he would have to fight for everything. Isabel, a fifteen year old classmate, had little to fear as she was beautiful, posed and sophisticated, and born with the proverbial silver spoon. That their two lives would ever cross was highly improbable. That is until Isabel is kidnapped by pirates leaving only Jarrod and an eccentric inventor to rescue her. A freak lightning storm and a unique invention propel Jarrod, Isabel, the professor, and a flying ship full of pirates into another world . . . an ancient world embroiled in civil war. Now, far from home, family and friends, Jarrod will be forced to confront his past in order to survive the present, and thus hopefully become the man of Isabel's future. Winds of Adventure was produced as a television series and has been broadcast to over 100 million people in multiple languages in Europe, southeast Asia, Russia, India, and the Middle East.
