Embriana and Pellandros are sent upon a quest by Zobi, a priestess of Hecate. The quest? Find a shattered magical sword and save the kingdom, of course! But it's not that simple. Suddenly there was a sizzling sound and it melted away, leaving nothing but tattered clothing and a greasy-looking black puddle. "Impressive shooting, Lady Embriana. The only way to kill those things with a weapon is a strike through the eye." The giantkin offered her the arrows as he spoke. "I don't suppose this is the best time to admit I was aiming for its chest all three times," Embriana replied, her voice shaking.
