This book is an unusual story about a married couple who are in the ministry. Being from the west coast they take over a small community church in the South. Not only is the southern culture new to them but the evil that pervades the city and their newly acquired church is a daily battle. Upon their arrival to the city of Flag they are immediately forced to confront some very strange and sometimes horrifying challenges. Pastor Tony and his wife face the enemy daily, in a very courageous manner, with God's help. Every person in their congregation appears to have their own very unique and often very dark, set of problems. They range from drug addiction to spousal abuse, gambling addiction, child abuse, murder and more. All of these problems are confronted and dealt with in a very interesting and positive way bringing this group together in a united front to fight a very evil entity that permeates and controls Flag Community Church as well as the city as a whole.
