Though the majority of Christians say that they believe in the local church and that church membership and attendance is important, we seem to have lost site of the church's beauty. We seem to have forgotten that the church is the bride of Christ. Christ loves her and gave His life for her. She is His chosen instrument to mediate His presence and love in the world until He returns to take her as His wife forever. And in so much as she reflects His goodness and glory she is still lovely. He makes her beautiful and His love adorns her. No matter what we may think she lacks, we cannot truly love Christ with no regard for her. Through theological journeys and a handful of personal stories, The Bride of Christ will open your eyes to the church's beauty and allow you to fall in love with her once more.
