Laughing Lions: Writings on Life

In a London park on a sunny day three unique friends came together, one from the near east, one from the far west and one from many places in between. They talked of things great and small, but mostly of the thing that matters most, the Now: the joy, pain, comedy and passion of Life as it is being experienced in the present including the experience of past reflections and future imaginings. As they laughed and shared their stories and observations a wellspring of feeling, perspective and reflection surfaced. Inspired by their meeting they each wrote down what they felt and thought, in poetic form or otherwise, without any concern for formal structure. They soon met again, each full of Life's force as were their writings - pages packed with thoughts and impressions of their worlds and themselves. It was a day of overwhelming stimulation, a day of discussions prompted by the piles of proffered pages - thoughtful, at times frustrating and challenging, funny, and sometimes sorrowful. Morning till dusk they listened, questioned, laughed and contemplated in silence. These are their writings on life, some will resonate with you, some may make you think, some may upset you, but perhaps these writings as a whole will motivate you to express your own creativity in your own medium.
