Preacher in Her Pocket: A Father Confronts Adultery, Conspiracy, and Judicial Misconduct

"Preacher in Her Pocket" chronicles a family's long and arduous struggle for survival as a sociopathic cleric and a manic mother conspired to exploit an irresponsible and gullible divorce system. The multiple offensive happenings, including authoritative arrogance, child abuse, adultery, conspiracy, maternal indifference, and abject denial of due process rights, pushed the father to the very limits of acceptable civilized behavior. Had the mother retained any of her inherent maternal attributes, and the cleric not been judged solely by his attire, this heartless duo would not have been able to leave in their wake a trail of chaos, frustration, heartache, and tears. Under most circumstances family members do not unnecessarily disclose familial miscreant behavior. This aversion to exposing these confidential, often embarrassing and humiliating family matters is understandable. However, there are situations where maintaining the confidentiality of such matters may circumvent a greater "need to know". Upon discovering that my struggle with our divorce system was not unique, that many others similarly experience the unconstitutional, cruel, and emasculating practices employed by our family courts, my desire to retain the confidentiality of our family secrets waned. It was superseded by an ardent urge to make known the serious effects upon innocents that result from the shameful practices employed within our divorce/custody system. Others have described these shortcomings in our legal system in a scholarly fashion from a technical perspective, and have demonstrated the need for remediation. However, the absence of corrective legislation and the fact that they remain relatively obscure to the general public signifies to this writer the necessity to portray these serious shortcomings from a more personal perspective. Purposely omitting the warts and blemishes would seriously dilute the message. Hopefully, this more personal format, including as it does the heart-rending, tear-jerking, and gut wrenching aspects, will arouse the sensibilities and indignation of a responsive audience.
