They Fought For Something: Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Exploits

Far too many women walk around feeling like second-class citizens of God's kingdom and third wheels in His glorious design. They sit back and get comfortable in mediocrity, refusing to be more than spectators, assuming that their lives are lackluster "fillers" in God's wonderful plan. The Bible, which is the guide for every Christian's life, tells us that this is far from the case. Every individual is special before God, and we each have an assignment. By human standards, our stories may not qualify as movie material, but by God's standards, we are all superstars.Using simple stories to create scenarios that are relatable to today's woman, this book invites you to examine the lives of a few Bible women we almost forgot - ordinary women who made a huge difference, not by theatrics and world-class stunts, but by applying simple actions that God always rewards: obedience, patience, persistence, and wisdom.
