New Earth: The Search for Justice

New Earth: The Search for Justice Back Cover Notes: The New Earth saga continues as Alex Hanken grapples with the enormous task of rallying a nation's people whose spirit has been shattered by a devastating financial collapse. An exclusive group of conspirators have seized the government and offered a rosy picture of the future under their leadership. Alex must convince the American people that this has been a monstrous betrayal by men looking out for their own best interest...not the country's. Alex vehemently opposes the figurehead of the Circle, as they call themselves, Admiral Evan Torrance, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Torrance has left Alex in control of a huge arsenal assuming he would side with him and the conspirators in the cover-up and subsequent takeover. Admiral Torrance was wrong...very wrong. With the nation and the whole world holding its collective breath, fearing a nuclear confrontation between the two men, Alex squares off with the Admiral and vows to rectify this great wrong against America. The whole world becomes the stage for Alex's assembled team of FBI agents, Navy Seals, and the two Russian spies now in his camp. They seek out clues and the perpetrators in Milan, Italy, then Paris, France. The search continues for who was behind the coup sending the teams to Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, Canada, Vietnam and finally Costa Rica. Alex promises justice to the American people...see how he fulfills that promise.
