Tommy Learns It's Not So Scary

I don't know if there are words strong enough to explain just how brave and amazing a young child is that faces what us adults fear most. When a child becomes sick, their whole world is a day-to-day scary place that is full of new challenges almost every day. They truly are amazing! No matter how much we want to endure their pain and fear for them, it's just not possible. I believe we do our best to help them, by listing and giving our understanding and compassion, also by helping them make light of a difficult even unbearable task that may be facing them, it is so important to just be there for them as much as we possibly can. (REMEMBER: Always; giving a little piece sunshine, with a reassuring smile, that is a precious thing. We all need to share that sunshine and a smile, with everyone around us always.
