Dewey is a hacker on probation on suspicion of being part of a larger hacking group and for hacking into numerous computer systems. With few friends due to his computer obsession, he goes back into the hacking underground and is working on what he hopes will be his last hack. While performing reconnaissance on the computer systems of the group's target, he uncovers a shocking operation being committed by a religious organization. Dewey struggles with whether he should walk away before he gets too deep into what he uncovers or go to the authorities. If he walks away, he fears it will be on his conscious that he didn't have compassion for people having been treated inhumanely. However, by going to the authorities, he risks going to juvenile detention or jail.
