Pink for Boys Blue for Girls! said Buttercup-Daisy

I have written these children's poems to help give parents support in reading to their children while making it a fun time for the family and easy reading. I wanted to create stories behind each poem so that children can relate to them, especially stories about special events like Christmas, Birthdays, Bonfire Night, Grandparents and First-Day at School and many more. While remembering life as a child, living and growing up in that world seemed forever when you are a child, filled with fun, games and laughter all with the innocents of life. I have taken pleasure in writing these short stories transformed into poems for children and I do hope that my book will find its way into many children's homes where they will enjoy reading "Pink for Boys Blue for Girls" said Buttercup-Daisy, why this title? well I wanted something that would say 'This book is worth reading" - it's fun and happy for children of all ages (even grandparents) I would say it is unique in it's own way. And the thing that has made it even more special was the help I received from my grandson, who at the age of nine has shown his talent with some of the illustrations created by him.
