A WAAF in Wartime Britain: A True Story

I, Jean Barrie, am fortunate indeed to have had Mary Stewart as my friend and companion throughout the stressful years in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during 1942-1945. In the ensuing story I am "Jane Barr" and vouch for its authenticity. We were very young, but then the war was fought mainly by the very young.
