A series of events occur that lead the women into discovering a mystery that is being hidden from the cities people by the newly instated religious leader, they quickly become a target for his anger and flee the city. But they are being followed by an incredibly dangerous foe, who could ultimately challenge the country's religious beliefs and change the way Xiapher understands her past forever.
