In WHAT COMES AROUND, Chris is an undergraduate in a local university where he is in an affair with his childhood girlfriend. Although his father is the permanent secretary in-charge of National Heritage and Traditions, they still live in a society where girls are given off to their husbands in forced marriages. The victim is Faith who is traditionally engaged to Mr. mutua, the father to Chris. Chris realises this when he finds his father in Faith's apartment drinking wine and meriting.
