They Really Can Be Little Angels

There is a miracle growing inside of you and this miracle is your baby. The joy and anticipation that you experience during your pregnancy is beyond measure, and then one day your baby is here. Your precious little bundle has arrived. Now what? You've read everything you can get your hands on, you've listened to the advice of family and friends, but you still wonder, "Will I be able to do this?" Generally speaking, parents and their families love infants. However, lack of sleep may lead to babies exhibiting behavior that can be utterly frustrating for parents, and can lead the parent to not "like" parenting. These frustrations can ultimately lead to feelings of guilt. Guilt causes the parents to question his or her parenting skills and wonder what kind of people they are. They often find themselves not wanting to spend too much time with their baby, thinking, "Someone please come and give me a break!" Successfully getting away for even a few hours of course provides some relief from the stress that you've been living with, but it can also lead to further feelings of guilt.
