THE WOUNDS OF LUCIEN is a tale of a man's search for compassion, hope and faith. It is a love story, set in Hell. The end of time, as we know it, is rapidly approaching. A young man, who bears the wounds of the Christ, journeys through various plateaus of pain, in the realm of Fire and Brimstone. He must retrieve the House of Stone and Light. If he succeeds, he will join the Battle for Redemption; the outcome will determine if mankind is forgiven for its sins, or the demonic Angels of Darkness will call Earth their playground - torturing, punishing the souls condemned by the Most Holy. When Lucien's wounds are dormant, he lives a normal life as a custodian at the Church of the Sacred Cross. He meets Tess Campbell, a waitress at the local diner, and they fall in love. When the Earth becomes restless, and men take up arms against each other, the Archangel Michael is ordered by the Most Holy to unleash the seven swords of destruction. Earthquakes. Volcanic eruptions. Tsunamis. Plagues. These horrifying events cause Lucien's wounds to appear, and he goes into a terrifying hypnotic state. At the Gates of Hell, he frees Ingrassia, a sinner condemned to suffer unspeakable horrors for eternity. Lucien and Ingrassia travel through the stations of Hell, searching, and combating demonic forces. If their sins are forgiven, the souls that Lucien frees will join the Armies of the Righteous. Those not forgiven will be transformed into hideous creatures, who will fight alongside the Angels of Death at the Battle of Armageddon. At the Battle for Redemption, Lucien and a worthy opponent, chosen by the Evil One, will engage in an epic battle for the fate of mankind. Lucien finds love in Hell with Ingrassia, but he must also overcome his inner struggle, finding compassion, hope and faith.
