Mountain Man Memoirs And Tales Of The Lecherous Jug

The stories and happenings of modern day mountain men are brought to life in my book. Many people dream of doing these things, but very few have the opportunity. I know they will enjoy all the humor as they ride along with us in the beautiful Wyoming mountains and prairies. The serenity of living in a 20 foot Cheyenne lodge has been wonderful times in our lives, peaceful and comfortable. The evenings were spent around the campfires, telling stories or just enjoying the lovely star-lit sky and all the sounds of nature at its finest. During the day, activities would consist of black powder rifle and pistol shoots, tomahawk and knife throwing. Of course there was always great cooking in everyone's cast iron pots. At one of these rifle shoots, White Fawn, {my wife} was getting ready to make her third shot at a steel target about 100 yards away when she heard a rattlesnake buzzing behind her, now after each shot they moved back five steps, she said that she couldn't because of the snake. One of the shooters located the snake, killed it, skinned it and ate it that night for supper. Oh, he did save the rattles and White Fawn did win that shoot.
