Come to think of it, whenever we acquire or purchase anything, more often than not, it goes with a manual. When we buy a television set, it has a manual. When we buy food, toys, a new dress, it has always some form of instruction on how to handle it. But when we had our children, where was the manual Was there a kit that tells us how to handle it? There was no instruction guide or whatsoever to that tells us what to do when it starts crying. Fact is: When you go to a pet shop, the sales clerk would give you a guideline on how to feed and bathe your new pet together with all the other dos and don'ts as it grows up. The most we get the very minute the baby pops out are tons of information on how other people raised their children. From the traditional to the bizarre, I'm sure you've heard them all. Many books have now been written on how to discipline a child. In as much as we all know that there is no fool proof way to bring up a child into this world. If anyone out there had absolutely no problem raising their children, I sure would like to read your book. More often than not, parents realize too late the mistakes they've made in bringing up their children. This thoughtful and simple-to-understand guide provides various options for proper discipline at the right moment and at the right age of the child in the manner that is called for. In this age and time where parents are more conscious to become better parents and individuals for their children, the concept of: children are better seen than heard, no longer applies to most of us. Though my siblings and I were raised in this manner, it does have its pros and cons. I sure we would all agree that we want our children to experience a joyful and rich childhood development as much as we want to enjoy parenthood in the best possible way we can.
