One year after the dead man was dug up and eaten at Onicha Ngwa, Eastern Nigeria, twenty-five-year-old Patti Bryant and her husband, Rees, arrive at the new Bible College with their infant son and little daughter. They are Christian teachers, eager to share the good news they carry in their Bibles and in their hearts. That night, exhausted, they lie wide-eyed under their mosquito net listening to the spine-chilling beating of village drums. The next morning two desperate men appear on a bicycle. The man slumped on the luggage carrier groans in agony. "Please help my brother," the other gasps. Rees rushes them to a distant hospital, but it is too late. The man dies the same day. Soon Patti and Rees become obsessed by the dream of a hospital near their Bible College. In the na?ve pursuit of their dream they endure embarrassing failures and maddening frustrations. They also laugh. A lot. Amazingly, the Nigerian Christian Hospital moves from dream to reality before their very eyes. Looking back at those eventful years, Patti traces God's design in it all-his divine choreography
