Year 2594 CE On the Planet Tulshar, two lawbreakers known as Demas and Phineas go back in time, attempting to change history in order to escape retribution for their crimes. As a result, Tulshar is propelled into an alternative reality. The personnel of the time-space service must use their super scientific skills in order to apprehend these troublemakers and return Tulshar and its people to their current reality. The time-space workers have also discovered that in the far future, an unknown force is creating a hole which threatens to tear through the universe, and through time itself. The solution to this problem is rooted in both Tulshar's current reality and in its alternative reality. Amid these circumstances Craig, a former time-space worker must bring Bill from Terra of another era to Tulshar and help him adjust to his new life there (with help from Steve, a native police officer). They must also do the same for a young woman who is brought forth from Tulshar's alternative reality. As these events take place, Bill encounters surprising revelations about his own origin and past.
