The backdrop for each story is exotic, sometimes real and sometimes imaginary, colorful and unusual, which is fitting for tales. Borrowing from Scheherazade, the author takes the reader on a journey to enchanting lands, from palaces of Sultans, to villages in Africa; from Pharaoh's court, to rocky mountains in America and ancient Japan's Edo, with places of fantasy in between. The main subjects are romance, comedy, and drama, often with a combination of the three. The tales are action-packed, with a quick tempo. Love dominates the collection and hate is present - with varied degrees of intensity - in some tales. The main protagonists are also exotic, handsome, often young, with a sharp sense of humor. They range from pour African villagers and lonely Native Americans, to Sultans, Pharaohs, Semi-Gods and Avatars. Most of the tales have a happy ending, except for the more dramatic ones.
