The desired outcome of taking medicine is to run disease from the body in order for healing to take place. Unfortunately, not all diseases affect the body. Toxic relationships "dis-ease" the mind. Some people stumble onto "dis-eases" camouflaged in life experiences. Though their minds scream for relief, relief is often not an option because most anecdotes are risk to benefit. There have been times, however, when the "dis-ease" itself brings on a queasiness that ultimately brings about healing. Poetry can bring solace to "dis-ease".
