Dance with Dementia: A daughters memoir about her father.

I kept a journal about my dad's journey into dementia to reinforce my memory of what transpired and when. I wanted to keep his physician apprised of his condition, as well as various members of my family. I'm sure there must be a lot of people like me and our family, who have no idea what is around the next corner of their parents slide down the slippery slope of dementia. Possibly their assessment of their parents condition is colored by the fog of denial as mine was. I hope that this true and anedotal filled story about our "dear old dad." will share similarities of dementia symptoms to people dealing with a parent or loved one who is also suffering with Alzheimers or dementia.
