Life is a wonderful gift. It is also a dynamic journey. Along the way there are bumps, heartbreaks and tragedies. Sometimes the pains in life are people. Other times trouble comes from circumstances. Those hurts in life can beat us down or we can find a way through them and come out stronger, more resilient or wiser. Everyone has their difficult moments. There are no exceptions. Each person has their own set of challenges in life. However, we all have a common option to face those unpleasant moments. We can always hope for a better day, an end to the trials or endurance to weather the storm. This is an amazing four letter word: hope. While we are desperately trying to hold on, manage our daily responsibilities through the ache or find a small reason to keep smiling, hope springs eternal and convinces us that there is something in life more powerful than bad people or tough circumstances. Money cannot buy it but hope is always available. People cannot fabricate it but hope is more real than agony. This book is about a difficult chapter in my life when every day I took hold of hope. It was always strong. When I felt alone, it gave me soothing company. After the pain kept increasing, hope was a salve to make every day count. The temptation to give up is strong when disappointment with people is overwhelming; however, hope keeps giving the stamina to put one foot in front of the other and let real life win. Let me share my days with you. Look at the hope that keeps bitterness away. Hope gives life meaning, joy and peace. These pages tell a story of my days when hope never let me down but gave me a reason to keep giving resolve to real life.
