Salle and the Alien Invasion

The planet Ruala is experiencing an ecological calamity and the Rua people may soon be driven from their undersea homes. Meanwhile, little Rua girl Salle is sad because she has lost her parents. Alien Ben, a human, has lost his son in a flyer accident and is grieving, too. Salle finds an adoptive parent in Ben, the Humans help the Rua to make the rains return and all the children learn each other's languages and games. Key lessons learned: - No child will ever be without adults to love and care for him/her. - Loss of a parent can lead to happy adoption into a new loving family or stepfamily. Loving someone new does not mean you have stopped loving your first family. - Different people and cultures have value, if you look for the positives. The adaptation period may be challenging, but you can adapt and learn new ways. - Troubles shared are troubles halved - and sometimes people outside of your group can bring clever new solutions to problems.
