The story is about a young girl named Gabriella who is held hostage over night against her will by a neighbor named Johnny. He goes to prison and plans to get even when he gets out. She meets a man and gets married and becomes pregnant. Johnny gets out and hunts her down and causes her to crash her car and she loses her baby and cannot have any more children. Johnny meets someone and they have a child together. They both get killed in a car accident but the baby lives. Gabriella and her husband adopt Johnny's child. They never told her she was adopted but she finds out from a picture she sees at her grandmother's house. The story is how Gabriella always relied on God for everything.
