By remembering the destructions; to the other cities; that happen in the past; as some of the characters recall that in history; a lot of people; in this world; have be exterminated; in some sense; where the world; where societies have broken down; where people; became cannibals; where the volcanoes, as well as earthquakes have destroy parts of different islands; in the long run; as they need some sense of grounding; hopefully as the reader reads this book; they will understand more about ancient times.
