The Gospel of John Study Guide: EFamily Radio

This study guide is to be used in conjunction with the EFamily Radio show called "Kids in the Word" on www.efamilyradio.com. Each episode is 10 to 15 minutes long and is targeted for kids. The show is broadcasted by Randy Elam, a father of two girls who lives in San Diego, California. Randy has been a Sunday school teacher and a Junior Church leader for many years. He's earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology Family Studies from Corban University. He started this show because he wanted a devotional for his two girls, but could never find one that was suitable. So, he decided to create his own and started a radio program in April 2013. The study guide has over 300 empty bubbles next to key verses. As the child listens to the program, he or she will fill in the bubbles with the correct letter combinations. There are seven different combinations to choose from: "CTB" - Call to Believe; "GG" - God's Grace; "GJ" - God's Judgment; "GP" - God's Power; "F" - Faith; "H" - Humility; and "RB" - Rebellion. This kind of study will help the child to view Scripture more deeply, not solely as a book of moral stories. The show and study guide are great for young children or for Sunday school and private school teachers who seek to challenge their students.
