Steve Brown and his Seven Secrets

Nine-year-old Steve Brown isn't much to look at. He's just one of the many abused and neglected residents of the New York orphanage he reluctantly calls home. If Steve stands out at all, it's because the orphanage warden, sadistic Mr. Arnold, has taken a special interest in him.

When the palm of Steve's hand emits a burst of raw power and sends Mr. Arnold flying across the room, the young boy comes to the attention of powerful forces.

Whisked away to a Buddhist monastery high in the Himalayas, Steve discovers he's the only person on earth capable of summoning the seven Rainbow Creatures, whose combined might harnesses the power of the Sun God.

Steve may be able to summon the creatures, but dark forces can steal control from him. Even as Shom, Steve's Buddhist teacher, instructs him in the use of his power, the occult master Koraka seeks to usurp Steve and take the power of the Sun God for his own shadowy purposes.

In the right hands, the Rainbow Creatures are a powerful force for good. Should they fall into Koraka's iron grasp, a new era of pain and slavery will eclipse the world.
